His work is
influenced by decorative
period designs and the art of many
ancient civilizations.
A second
generation potter, working
in Cincinnati, his stoneware clay also
includes some of the local clay from
the Miami river valley.
The glazes
are formulated from rose
petal ash, volcanic ash and sometime
a frit made from recycled glass.
Flecks in the
glaze reveal the iron
deposits in our native clay. The soft
muted colors have been developed
to co-ordinate with contemporary
and traditional living spaces. All the
glazes are food safe.
